A bipartisan bill was recently introduced to the House to end the consideration of prior or current cannabis use when assigning security clearance for federal employment. 

23 states have legalized adult-use cannabis, 17 have legalized medical use, and only 10 prohibitive states remain.

After it failed to pass at the end of 2022, the Secure And Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act was reintroduced by bipartisan lawmakers in both chambers of Congress.

Missouri’s adult-use cannabis sales began on February 3 of this year. It’s expected to generate more than half a billion dollars in sales in the first year. In the first month of sales, Missouri made $103 million.
